Charcoal Powder: Safe, Natural Teeth Whitening

I posted a natural teeth whitening giveaway on Instagram yesterday to celebrate nearing 10k followers, and I’ll be gifting one of my Instagram followers a complete Caregenia kit!

It’s my favorite set to use because it’s made in the USA, cruelty-free, and vegan friendly. As someone who has used a variety of whitening kits in the past and suffered from teeth sensitivity, I am so glad to have found a natural, bleach-free alternative. It comes in a premium, ready to use kit—including bamboo toothbrush, ultra-fine charcoal powder, dental flosses, and whitening guide—and I love how practical it is!

I received so many questions about what charcoal actually does and how it works, so I figured I’d explain it in more detail here:

Charcoal removes toxins on the surface of your teeth. It works by absorbing small, microscopic particles to help remove small spots that cause unwanted, yellow discoloration of the teeth. In addition to working on stains, it also helps with bad breath making charcoal an appealing alternative to traditional teeth whitening methods.

The ultra-fine, food grade charcoal powder in the Caregenia kit is one of the best on the market in terms of quality, and is safe for your enamel and gums to effectively absorb stains, tannins, plaque, bacteria and harmful toxins. I was so impressed and loved being able to track my progress using the whitening guide provided.  I saw a visible difference in only TWO uses!
